র্যাব-১১ এর অভিযানে কুমিল্লায় ৭৫ বোতল স্কাফসহ মাদক ব্যবসায়ী গ্রেফতার

র্যাপিড অ্যাকশন ব্যাটালিয়ন (র্যাব)-১১ এর বিশেষ অভিযানে কুমিল্লা জেলার বুড়িচং থানার পাচড়া এলাকা থেকে ৭৫ বোতল স্কাফসহ মো. আনিসুর রহমান (২৭) নামে এক মাদক ব্যবসায়ীকে গ্রেফতার করেছে। এ সময় তার হেফাজত থেকে মাদক বিক্রির নগদ এক লাখ দশ হাজার তিনশ সাতান্ন টাকা (১,১০,৩৫৭) উদ্ধার করা হয়।
র্যাব-১১ জানায়, গত ১১ আগস্ট রাতে সিপিসি-২ এর একটি আভিযানিক দল গোপন সংবাদের ভিত্তিতে এ অভিযান পরিচালনা করে। প্রাথমিক জিজ্ঞাসাবাদে জানা গেছে, গ্রেফতারকৃত আনিসুর রহমান কুমিল্লার সীমান্তবর্তী এলাকা থেকে স্কাফ সংগ্রহ করে কুমিল্লাসহ দেশের বিভিন্ন স্থানে পাইকারি ও খুচরা মূল্যে বিক্রি করতেন।
র্যাব-১১ এর তথ্য অনুযায়ী, ২০২৪ সালের ৫ আগস্ট থেকে এ পর্যন্ত দায়িত্বপূর্ণ এলাকায় চাঞ্চল্যকর অপরাধী ১৬৫ জন, আরসা সদস্য ১৫ জন, জঙ্গি ২ জন, হত্যা মামলার আসামি ১৬৪ জন, ধর্ষণ মামলার আসামি ৭১ জন এবং অস্ত্র মামলায় ২৩ জন গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছে। এ সময় ১০২টি অস্ত্র, ১,৩৪২ রাউন্ড গুলি এবং বিপুল পরিমাণ মাদকদ্রব্য উদ্ধার করা হয়। এছাড়া ৩৭৫ জনেরও বেশি মাদক ব্যবসায়ী, ৬৫ জন অপহরণকারী, ছিনতাইকারী ও ডাকাত ৭৩ জন, জেল পলাতক ৩৮ জন, প্রতারণার মামলার আসামি ১৬ জনসহ প্রায় ৪০০ জনকে আইনের আওতায় আনা হয়েছে।
র্যাব-১১ জানায়, মাদকের মতো সামাজিক ব্যাধির বিরুদ্ধে তাদের অভিযান অব্যাহত থাকবে। গ্রেফতারকৃত আসামির বিরুদ্ধে আইনানুগ ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ প্রক্রিয়াধীন।
